"I love the work. when I was 13 years old I crawled up on a stool and learned to set type by hand and have been working ever since only to go to school and college. I was a read daddy girl and I did this just to help him. I came to Ashburn when I was four years old, nothing was here, only a wilderness. So I have watched the town grow and love it. It is marvelous how to town has grown the past few years with an active Chamber of Commerce made up of members who have given time and money to bring industry here. We beg of every citizen to lend their support to making Ashburn and Turner County grow."</text>

"Sheriff Kennedy said 125 gallons of the illegal liquor was poured out in a mantle near the Turner County courthouse after the raid, and the raider was destroyed at the raid."
