                <text>Located at 304 North Street in Ashburn, GA, this clock was brought to Ashburn from New Jersey. It once belonged to the Mastrario family when they lived at 413 N Main St. (The Betts-Shealy House) from 1992-2000. They had the clock at the end of their driveway. &#13;

When they moved, they donated the clock to Edgar Perry, Charles Perry, and Paul Perry. The Perry's restored the clock and added the "Perry" topper and "Mastrario" inscription on the clock face and put it in their park.</text>

TURNER COUNTY&#13;
This County, created by Act of the Legislature August 18, 1905, is named for Capt. Henry Gray Turner who was captured by Union troops at Gettysburg. A resident of Nashville and later of Quitman, he served in the legislature, and in Congress from 1881 to 1897. About 1855 the Battle fo Sandy Sink was tough two miles easy of Cool Springs with the Indians under Billy Bow Legs. Among the first County Officers were: Sheriff John B. Cason, Ordinary W.A. Greer, Clerk of the Superior Court C.L. Royal, Tax Receiver V.A. Freeman, Tax Collector T.E. Brown and Treasurer J.H. Gorday.</text>
