Col. and Mrs. J.J. Story have received word from the government that their son, Lt. J.J. Story Jr., who has been missing in action over Germany since Nov. 5, is officially dead. The German government notified the American Red Cross, who relayed the information to our government. Turner County citizens are deeply grieved to hear the final news of this popular Ashburn boy and extend sympathy to the family.
