Title
Lieutenant Austin Scott Writes From Germany
Description
"Word has been received from Lt. Austin Scott, son of Dr. and Mrs. W.R. Scott of Ashburn, who was reported in January a prisoner in Germany. He wrote a card to his mother dated Jan. 3, 1944 which was received this week. The messags [message] was reassuring and is as follows:
'All O.K.. and treated swell! Please don't worry, will send you my address as soon as it's given. The food is swell and we have plenty of reading material and clothes. The Red Cross is swell so give them $5.00 for me. I will be able to write twice a month so you and Mary swap letters. Give my love to family and the rest for you and Mary. All my love.
AUSTIN"
