"It is interesting to analyze the reasons for the publicity which the little town of Ashburn in Turner County, South Georgia, has been recently receiving. The publicity is of the favorable and constructive sort; it affects more than the pleasure and gratification of the people of Ashburn and the region about that town; it is publicity which is building up not only Ashburn but making Turner county stronger, but which is turning solid and substantial settlers and investors in their serious attention toward this part of the state. Ashburn's publicity is a distinct asset to the state, particularly this part of the state."
