Ray Lloyd TV
Dublin Core
Title
Ray Lloyd TV
Description
This building once held a grocery store, Sycamore Gas, and a TV business.
Second image is a postcard of the same buildings.
Marlyn Wilson Nelson reminisces:
"I got to visit to visit this drugstore a few times. These were special visits for me! Since I lived in the country, these visits were mainly when I got to go to Grandma and Granddaddy Wilson's to spend the night.(which did not happen often and we walked home from school) when I was in elementary school. Buying a soda from the fountain was a big deal. Later it became a grocery store. Later, I shopped for our first groceries at the store. I believe J.T. Holloway either owned the store or worked there. I also remember the old hospital that was located across the railroad tracks that was later used as apartments and the old hotel that burned."
