Although there is new ownership, there will be no changes in staff.
Nora Lawrence Smith, Editor:
"I love the work. when I was 13 years old I crawled up on a stool and learned to set type by hand and have been working ever since only to go to school and college. I was a read daddy girl and I did this just to help him. I came to Ashburn when I was four years old, nothing was here, only a wilderness. So I have watched the town grow and love it. It is marvelous how to town has grown the past few years with an active Chamber of Commerce made up of members who have given time and money to bring industry here. We beg of every citizen to lend their support to making Ashburn and Turner County grow."
