On the morning of January 18, 2026, Turner County experienced a dusting of the fluffiest snowflakes. Although no where near the 6 inches of 2025 from Winter Storm Enzo, it was still a sight to experience.

Officials say that they still have no clues or leads in what has been called “the most brutal crime in Turner county.”

Clements Chapel Methodist Church was organized in 1891 and named for Rev. William N. Clements, who donated the property for the church.

Bill Hallman, his daughter Janette Hallman, and others at his service station and grist mill around 1947. This was located at 2633 US Hwy 41, Sycamore, GA. The building is no longer there and is currently another business and building.

We did a walk through of the old Turner County Middle/High school before it gets torn down next week and I documented some of the rooms that I frequented when I attended school there in the 90s.
