A photo of Mr. W.C. “Curly” Garrett while managing a skating rink in Ashburn. I love how you can see the skates behind him.

This was located at what is now known as Tom Whitsett Park!

From Linda Wiggins Williford: “Mr. Garrett ran both the skating rink and the swimming pool. We kept him really busy! He always kept frozen zero bars for me!”
