Shingler Pullman Vehicle

In what appears to be a nationally reported interest article, the Shingler family owned what we know today as an R.V. Referred to as a “bungalow on wheels,” the mobile “Sparrow’s Nest” (this is the same name as the Shingler home in Ashburn) has curtains, steamer rugs, running water, shower baths, and space for day beds to rest on. The family used it to travel the Blue Ridge Mountains on one trip.
