Turner Theatre vintage postcard

May 9, 2023Ashburn

We recently got access to an incredible vintage postcard collection belonging to Sharon Wise. Scanning, uploading, documenting, and tagging them all for the TCP archive will take a good bit but we had to share this incredible find of the Ashburn Theatre.

Honestly, this is one of the best photos I have seen of the now non-existent building.

Check it out!

When we came to Turner Co. as PK’s the owners of the Turner Theater let us know that during Matinee hours on the weekends, we got a discount and could watch the scheduled movie for 50 cents. That was such a welcoming gesture. One of the many reasons Ashburn was our favorite town to live in.
