Peanut Harvest

October 30, 2025Ashburn

There’s nothing quite like peanut harvest season in Turner County. The hum of the tractor, the dust rising off the fields, and the steady rhythm of the digger pulling up rows of legumes remind us of what hard work looks like, with the smell of freshly tilled peanuts permeating the air.

Peanut fields tell stories. Of early mornings. Of long days and families who’ve made their living off this red Georgia soil for generations. As the combines roll and the trailers fill, it’s more than a harvest- it’s a tradition that keeps our roots strong.

Location: Coley Farms on Cofer Rd, Sycamore, GA
Date: October 4, 2021
