The Sycamore School

The Sycamore School was definitely a beloved institution of Turner County. Considered one of the prettiest schools in the area, this building has fallen into bad disrepair and is a source of recent contention due to clean-up efforts and environmental concerns. The Wiregrass Farmer has had great coverage on the issue these past few months.

Lisa Garrett Bonnell shared a photo from the late 1970s when it was covered in snow!
